Midge Neff-LeClair Antique Clothing Collection
This
is a collection of antique costumes. Some pieces are believed to
date back to the 18th century, though the majority of the collection
is from the 19th and 20th centuries. This collection is fragile
and is kept off-site in a storage facility.

Midge Neff-LeClair was a 2003 Inductee to the San Diego County Women's Hall of fame. She has been nationally recognized for cultural and historical preservation with "Apparel Americana", a historical fashion show. Raised with both traditional notions of Women's place and her grandmother's Cherokee values, Neff-LeClaire's work has often been with those who are marginalized by, or omitted from, traditional institutional education and services: elderly, new immigrants, minorities, veterans, the working poor, and most of all, women.
